Location
The Crystal Blue Ice Cave Adventure is an adventurous trip, off the beaten path, on which you experience the forces of Icelandic nature. We depart from the Glacier Lagoon every day at 9:30 and 14.00, driving off-road to Iceland’s largest glacier, Vatnajökull. During the scenic drive in our special super jeeps, we will see the best of the amazing glacial terrain.
Is the ride difficult
No, we encourage everyone over 8 years of age to join this magnificent journey.
Safety
Everyone is required to wear a helmet, harness and crampons. You will be lead by an experienced guide.
Is the tour season bound
The weather in this area can by very dynamic and situation at the cave is evaluated on a daily basis.
What to bring
- Warm clothing and outerwear suited to rainy or cold weather (waterproof
recommended). Jeans are not recommended for ice cave tours. - Sturdy shoes for walking/hiking
