Whale watching has long been a big part of Icelandic culture, and we feel privileged to have these beautiful creatures swimming in our Ocean. 

For a long time, it has been said that the BEST PLACE TO GO WHALE WATCHING IN ICELAND is Hauganes; and one of the best places to see whales in the world. These beautiful creatures love to come to the calm fjords, where they get plenty of food and loads of love.

So join this thrilling boat tour and see whales around us!

Tour Description

We will meet in Hauganes, a small village from where we will go into the wild Atlantic Ocean to find our beautiful creatures. Before we get on the boat, we will take some warm overalls, which are included in the price. We will also give you a warm blanket if you feel cold.

With our professional local guides, we will then start exploring the ocean, and start a wild search for our beautiful whales. We will spend roughly 2 hours in the ocean, so make sure you have the right clothing with you. It is good to wear layers of clothing, and if you have some wool clothing we really recommend it (it is every Icelandics Fisherman’s favorite!).

Meanwhile, we will have an open buffet for coffee and hot chocolate which we will be able to enjoy throughout the tour.

Prices:

• 10.600 ISK per person
• 4.900 ISK for kids 7-15 years old
• Free for kids under 7 years.

Please arrive at the meeting point 30 minutes before departure time.
