Along the South Coast, you will visit the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss (walk-behind) and Skógafoss, and the dramatic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. While venturing thorugh the South Coast, you will experience two key guided glacier activities: a Glacier Hike on Sólheimajökull (with all safety gear), a visit to a natural Ice Cave (either Vatnajökull or Katla, depending on conditions).
Further north, you explore the geothermal area of Námaskarð, the unique lava pillars of Dimmuborgir near Lake Mývatn, and the powerful Dettifoss and beautiful Goðafoss waterfalls. Your journey through the North of Iceland will also include a whale watching tour from Hauganes.
Throughout the trip, your guide will actively hunt for the Northern Lights (September–March).
