Þórsmörk, located in the heart of South Iceland, is a remarkably stunning nature reserve nestled amidst the glaciers Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull, and Tindfjallajökull.
This particular tour is highly popular, offering a plethora of breathtaking hiking options and thrilling rides across numerous unbridged glacial rivers. It presents an ideal opportunity to explore the marvels of Þórsmörk while embarking on an adventurous 4×4 Super Jeep drive.
During the hike, you will be treated to awe-inspiring vistas of Þórsmörk, Mýrdalsjökull glacier, and the highlands. Additionally, we will ascend to Gígjökull glacier, where we can witness the aftermath of the 2010 Eyjafjallajökull eruption and breathe in the invigorating glacial air.
Þórsmörk possesses a unique ambiance, showcasing the essence of Icelandic nature.
Throughout the tour, we will make several stops for hiking. Please note that the terrain can be uneven, involving uphill and downhill sections.
Every tour is tailored to accommodate each individual's capabilities, and our guide will provide detailed information about every planned stop. If you prefer not to hike, there is no obligation to do so.

- This tour is considered an EASY Suitable for most people in fair condition. You have to be able to walk on uneven surfaces and hike for at least 2 – 3 hours at a slow pace, with breaks. Trails are generally of good quality and glaciers travel at a relatively low angle.
- You have to be at least 6 years old to be able to participate in this tour.
- This tour requires a car to get to Brú Base Camp.
- Appropriate footwear and suitable outdoor clothing must be worn. We reserve the right to refuse participation to clients we believe are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in such circumstances no refunds shall be given. Our guides reserve the right to refuse participation to any customer whose conduct or manner is likely to cause offense, upset, or put other passengers in danger.
