Landmannalaugar - Super Jeep Tour
Tour Description
We embark on a scenic journey through majestic mountains and make a stop at the captivating Ljótipollur crater lake, despite its name, it is anything but ugly! This remarkable location in Landmannalaugar mesmerizes visitors with its turquoise-colored water and rolling coastal hills adorned in vibrant red hues.
Upon reaching the geothermal pool, you have the option to embark on an invigorating hike or indulge in a relaxing dip amidst the warmth, surrounded by a lava field. It's a perfect opportunity to find inner peace and rejuvenate in the embrace of nature.
Next, our destination is the awe-inspiring Hekla, an active volcano often regarded as the queen of Icelandic volcanoes. When weather conditions permit, we ascend 900 meters to witness the breathtaking panoramic view spanning 100 kilometers in every direction, where you may even catch a glimpse of seven glaciers!
During our journey, we will make several stops for hiking, covering a distance of approximately 8 kilometers. The trail may be uneven at times, featuring uphill and downhill sections.
Every tour is catered to each person’s ability and the guide will inform our guests with every stop that will be made. If you don’t feel like hiking you don’t have to.
