The small group Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon day tour is the ultimate treat, as it covers the most iconic attractions in Iceland, with an admission ticket to the world-famous geothermal spa, the Blue Lagoon. Hop on our fully-equipped, premium minibus, led by one of our experienced driver guides, we are going on an exciting day trip to see the most beautiful scenery Iceland has to offer, starting with the major highlights on the Golden Circle Route.

Iceland is special because of places like Thingvellir National Park, a historic and geological location that is also a UNESCO world heritage site. Alþingi, the first parliament in the world was established here in 930 AD. One of the most unique experiences Thingvellir has to offer is the opportunity to see and walk between two continents.

Another highlight is the Geysir Geothermal Area, as geothermal powers are especially active in this region propelling steamy hot springs up to the sky.

We will also stop by the mighty Gullfoss waterfall, a unique, beautiful fall that attracts admirers from all over the world.

Unlike many other Golden Circle tours, we also include a stop at Kerið volcanic crater lake, created by where we can see the striking contrasts between maroon, black, and mossy green colors down the slope, and turquoise water filled the crater. 

Perhaps the highlight of the day is getting to enjoy the therapeutic geothermal water at the Blue Lagoon, the world renowned hot-spring spa.

FlyOver Iceland is a state-of-the-art technology that gives you the feeling of flying. The seats hang suspended, with your feet dangling mid-air. In front of you is a 20-meter spherical screen that gives you an all-around viewing experience. The film was filmed on a helicopter with its nose down while filming, so the final results give you, the viewer, the ultimate feeling of actually being there, flying over fields, lakes, glaciers, fjords, and mountaintops. Scent, mist, and wind blow your way as you sit there, hitting all your senses.

There are two original pre-ride shows.

At Hvammsvík Hot Springs you are immersed in a perfect fusion of geothermal water, flowing from our very own source 1400 meters underground, with seawater straight from the Atlantic ocean. The steady stream of this unique blend of water, between pools, over their edges and back into the ocean, ensures optimum water quality and cleanliness.

After a soak in the Hot Springs we recommend you try some delicious, light dishes inspired by our surroundings at our bistro. The seafood soup is a favorite or our infamous algae/ginger shot!

Our aim at Hvammsvik Hot Springs is to give our guests an authentic Icelandic nature experience. The area is rich in local wildlife, with over 30 different types of birds that reside in and around Hvammsvik. Wild sheep roam around in the summer and if lucky you might spot an Arctic Fox. Quite a few elves are said to reside in the rocks and hills of the nature resort!

Hvammsvík has its share of spectacular northern lights. Best time to witness the aurora borealis

is from October through April.

A place in History

Hvammsvík is a historical landmark that was first discovered by the Vikings 1000 years ago as recorded in Landnáma, the Icelandic book of settlers dating back to the 11th century. No wonder they chose Hvammsvík given its incredible landscape, natural harbor, geothermal heat and wildlife.
