The name for all erupting hot springs—geyser—actually originates from this very location! It was inspired by the area's oldest and now dormant spring, simply named Geysir.

Your journey concludes at one of Iceland's most magnificent sights: Gullfoss, the "Golden Waterfall." This awe-inspiring waterfall is created by the melting water of Langjökull, Iceland's second-largest glacier, which dramatically cascades into a deep canyon.

On sunny days, the dense mist rising from the falls catches the light, often creating a stunning rainbow—making it the ideal spot for breathtaking photos. You can even glimpse the massive Langjökull Glacier in the distance!

Optional activity that can be added on your Golden Circle Private Tour. Snorkel in the Silfra Fissure, where filtered glacier water provides over 100 meters of visibility. A certified PADI Dive Master will provide a safety briefing and high-quality gear—including a drysuit and thermal layer—to keep you comfortable in the 2°C–4°C water. This experience allows you to float directly between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.

Experience natural geothermal steam baths directly above a bubbling geyser. This location allows you to unwind in varying water temperatures or refresh in the adjacent lake for a traditional Icelandic wellness experience

A farm is famous for its on-site restaurant, where you can dine among the tomato plants. The menu focuses on fresh ingredients, featuring their signature tomato soup, home-baked bread, and unique items like tomato beer and tomato-based desserts.
